Mindfulness is how I live my life, or try to.
It’s a philosophy – experience as much as possible in each moment, try to cause no hurt or harm in any moment, and if possible give something good to the world around you at any moment.
It’s a practice – both formal, to develop my skill in mindfulness, and informally, dotted dozens of times through my day, from the moment I wake up till I go to sleep at night.
Therefore mindfulness is soaked into all of the other areas I am involved in, from poetry and art, to my understanding of family businesses, to my writings about society and purpose, and through my explorations of my Polish heritage and the questions that raises about identity, history and the future. Through each of these interests, my mindfulness runs deeply, so I don’t see mindfulness as just one amongst many things I do. Rather it is the core, the foundation, the roots.
On this site I'll add regular blogs reflecting on mindfulness, the science, how to do it, and how it can help not just one another, but societies as a whole if we look deeply enough.
